BMW Spheres project explores Precision and Poetry in 3D

BMW Spheres project explores Precision and Poetry in 3D

Presented at this year’s Milan Design Week, the Spheres project by Swiss-Argentinian designer Alfredo Häberli uses abstract artworks and a hybrid vessel concept to explore BMW’s design philosophy.

BMW requested Zurich-based industrial designer to create a personal, free interpretation of the brand design motto “Precision & Poetry”.

The resulting project comprises several elements, including the Vessel, a vehicle that mixes elements of a car, a boat and a plane.

Embodying luxurious traveling, this one-wheeld vehicle is based on the interior of the 7-series and is characterized by a streamlined, sculptural shape that expresses gliding movement.

It’s not a car, it’s not a boat, it’s not a plane :)…. It’s pompous cornball Bulls###, a revisitation of the stupid speed shape project. BMW designers and this guy are way too full of themselves.
